The Street Maintenance Department is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the city’s streets and roadways. Services provided by the Street Department include:

Pothole Repairs:

• Swiftly addressing potholes to ensure safe and smooth driving conditions.
• Filling potholes with appropriate materials to prevent further deterioration.

Street Sweeping:

• Regularly cleaning streets to remove debris, leaves, and litter.
• Enhancing the overall appearance of the city and promoting cleanliness.

Signage Repairs:

• Maintaining traffic signs, stop signs, yield signs, and other regulatory signs.
• Promptly repairing damaged or faded signs to enhance safety.

The Street Department plays a vital role in keeping Seminole’s streets well-maintained, safe, and efficient for residents and visitors alike.

State Highway 385 and State Highway 62/180 within the city limits fall under the jurisdiction of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). TxDOT is responsible for maintaining these highways.
