Divisions

Patrol-

The Patrol Division forms the operational backbone of a police department—providing immediate response, continuous presence, and foundational law enforcement services essential to community safety and effective policing.

The Patrol division consisting of 9 Officers is divided into to two shifts. Each Shift is under the Supervision of a Patrol Sargent.

Criminal Investigations-

CID functions as the department’s primary investigative arm, operating primarily in plain clothes and often on an on-call basis for major crimes. The division emphasizes thoroughness, legal precision, and accountability to ensure cases are effectively investigated and successfully prosecuted.

In essence, the Criminal Investigations Division transforms initial incidents into prosecutable cases by conducting comprehensive, methodical investigations that support justice and public safety.

Criminal Investigations Division is commanded by a Lieutenant and staffed by a Detective.

Animal Control-

Animal Control serves a critical role at the intersection of public safety, animal welfare, and public health ensuring the humane treatment of animals while maintaining a safe and orderly community.

Animal Control is staffed by one Animal Control Officer.
