From the Desk of the Chief of Police Dear Seminole Residents, As your Chief of Police, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Seminole. The Assistant Chief of Police supports the Chief of Police in managing the overall operations of the department. This role includes overseeing divisions, implementing departmental policies, ensuring compliance with law enforcement standards, and assisting in strategic planning. The Assistant Chief also acts as a liaison between command staff and the Chief, helps coordinate community outreach efforts, and may serve as acting chief in the Chief’s absence.

The Lieutenant supervises and coordinates operations within the Criminal Investigations and Patrol Divisions. Responsibilities include managing investigative case assignments, overseeing patrol deployment, ensuring officer performance and adherence to department policies, and facilitating communication between units. This role plays a key part in maintaining public safety, leading investigative efforts, and supporting frontline officers in their daily duties.

The Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and organizational support to the department, assisting with recordkeeping, report preparation, scheduling, correspondence, and data entry. This role helps ensure efficient day-to-day operations by supporting command staff, handling public inquiries, and maintaining accurate and confidential files.
