Project: Sealed Bids “Northern Expansion – Water/Sewer Lines”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The City of Seminole is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the
construction and installation of a new 6-inch C900 DR14 potable water line and 6-inch SDR
35 gravity sewer line running north of Seminole, Texas along US 385 N, within the west-side
TxDOT right-of-way, and continuing west along PR 202M, the newly constructed access
road.

The project includes installation of five (5) fire hydrants, six (6) sewer manholes, tracer wire
on both utilities, and connection of the sewer line into the existing lift station located at
the southeast corner of the project area.
All work must meet City of Seminole specifications and applicable AWWA/TCEQ
standards.

BID SUBMISSION INFORMATION:
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Seminole, Texas until 12:00 p.m., Friday,
September 11, 2026, for the new construction of water and sewer lines in accordance with
specifications available to prospective bidders at City Hall, 302 S. Main. Bids will be
opened and publicly read aloud at City Hall on September 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. It is
anticipated that award of contract will be made at the City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. on
September 14, 2026, at City Hall. Any exceptions to the specifications should be
specifically noted. Contractors will be required to provide proof of general liability
insurance and workers’ compensation insurance.

The City of Seminole reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all
technicalities and to accept the bid that is the most advantageous to the City of Seminole
in the opinion of the City Council.
